I have had a good couple of weeks. I also met a lot of new people.
One day I met up with a girl I met at church. We walked around the city a bit and then walked up to
Špilberk Castle. It was great even though we didn't go inside.
Here are some photos I took while at the castle.
The view was breathtaking. It was also so quite and peaceful up here.

After we came back to the city, we decided to get something hot to drink. We went to a small cafe and I got hot chocolate. It was much thicker than I am use to but it was good.
I had a great time.
This past weekend (last few days of February and first day of March) I
went on my first trip. We went to the Karlov
pod Pradědem and we went to the Praděd Mountain. I left on Friday morning
and when we got there the activities started. It was called Winter
Teambuilding so it was about getting to know new people and have a
good time. When we went to hike to the top of the mountain, there was a lot of snow and it was cold! I had a really good time and had a lot of fun.

Even though the hike up the mountain was so long, it was totally worth it because of the view. Here are some pictures I took during the hike up the mountain.

So on the right was a beautiful view. Then I kept turning to my left and there was so many clouds you couldn't see any view at all. I thought Id take a picture to show the two different views from the top.

Well, its been a good few weeks for sure! I visited a different church and I liked it a lot more. This weekend Ill visit another one. Im trusting God will lead me to the right place while I am here. I have already started to get to know some other students who are believers and its been good. They meet every Thursday and I plan on going. Im excited to see how God works through this.
These past two weeks I have experienced a lot of homesickness and its been hard. But I have been continually reminded to truly and fully lean and trust in God. It is amazing when I start reading my bible and how the time just flies by. I can easily spend over an hour in the word and my time with God.
The verses I have been meditation on this week are
Isaiah 26:3-4
"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD God is an everlasting rock"
Proverbs 3:6-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths"
Philippians 4:6-7
"do not be anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests me made known to God. And the Peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"
If I did not have Jesus with me every minuet of every hour of every day I would not be able to make it thought this journey. He has given me strength and helped me in everything. I am so thankful that my best friend will never leave my side, no matter where I go or what I do, he will always go and be with me.

So glad you titled this the "first trip..."it means there are more adventures to come!! I enjoyed being able to drop into your world for awhile. It's great to hear how God is meeting you in His Word, and to see you taking it all in. Looking forward to the next installment of Holly's Heart!
