Budapest

Hey Everyone. As some of you might already know, last weekend I went to a trip to Budapest. I was there for three days. I think I will mostly just post some pictures and then if you have any questions you can ask. I will talk a little bit about some of the pictures but mostly just show you what I experienced.

The first day we got there we walked around the highest point of Budapest and then some in the city.

This was a huge market place and small stores. It was huge on the inside, I didn't have a change to walk around he whole building due to not enough time.

 The Second day, we started with going to see Parliament. It was so beautiful inside and outside as well.

Hand painted stained glass windows, so beautiful.

 Where sessions of parliament took place (not the actual room, but this room is the same layout as the one they still use)

Chain Bridge

We climbed up 302 step to get to the top of this church dome so we could see the view. It was beautiful! 

Inside the church was so beautiful! We had a privet concert by someone on the huge and beautiful organ.

The last day we want to Hero's Square and then to the zoo.

After the zoo, I went with a group and we walked around a little. Then we found a coffee shop and got ice cream and coffee before getting on the bus back to Brno.

Budapest was a wonderful trip! I am so glad I was able to go! Next comes Serbia, Venice, Poland, and Slovakia! Then my mom and sister come and we will do some traveling together before I come home.

Trip to Vienna

Hi everyone! So I went on my first trip outside Czech Republic! I went to Vienna Austria for a day. It was a trip put on by the international student club here at Masaryk. I had a great time.

We all met up at the bus station at 9:10am and then left on the bus. It took a couple hours to get there. Instead of saying everything we did Ill just put some pictures with some explanations when needed. Over all it was a fabulous day and we got back at 9:30pm. When I got home I was so tired and ready for bed.

We didn't get to go in because it would take to long to have the tour, but the outside was sure beautiful!

Then we went to the back or different part of the castle and it was beautiful! In the summer the gardens are full of flowers and its much more green and beautiful. 

There were a bunch of statues along the paths in the gardens

 In the simmer, all he places with the designs (its the dirt area in the grass) is where all the flowers are during the summer

So so beautiful! 

After we left the castle, we went back to the subway and to a different part of the city. We walked to a butter fly house and then to the city center. It was so beautiful and just perfect weather!

I would have liked to see the garden on the roof! 

This by far was the coolest bus I've seen in Europe so far! hope I can ride one before I leave Europe!

Inside there were so many butterflies and it was so beautiful! besides it being hot and humid it was fun to see the all the different butterflies!

The rest of the pictures are from walking around more in the city. 

The last thing we had to do on the trip was to climb 343 stairs to the top (well almost top) of this church.

It was a long dizzy and hard climb. But the view was so worth it in the end!

 This is what the stairs looked like.... all the way up just a spiral stair case, thus my dizziness! This was before going down though, but still...

After we finished this we decided to go to the amusement part for food and rides. I only went on the ferris wheel then ate dinner. Over all it was an amazing day! 

The ferris wheel is very different than I'm use to for sure, but so nice because I could take pictures from all angles! :) 

Yummy food! finally had a good burger! Sure do miss my families good barbecues at home!

 And I thought Id put a picture of the money for my siblings and this of you who like to see foreign money.

Anyway, I thought Id end this with a short video I took after we left the butterfly house. It sure was a sight to see and kind of funny.
