For writing class, we had to make up a character from the western and write a good description on him/her. Mine is about a man named John Dun, engaged to Chloe.
As Chloe stood, she watched her fiance, John Dun, handle the cattle. He stood tall and handsome. As she looked at his face, she saw a man full of confidence. When he smiled, his jaw and cheeks would form the most stunning smile. She stared at his jaw line and saw how strong and sturdy it looked. Because John was a rancher, his skin was authentically tan. His eyes are a deep blue that set off his facial features.
The rope circled around and around, creating a soft whooshing sound, and landed around the neck of a big black bull. As the rope tightened, the sweat on the bull gleamed in the sun. John's muscular arms flexed as soon as the rope was tight and the bull tried to get away.
When John held her in his arms, she felt safe, and very protected. When she stood close to him, the smell of his aftershave floated in the air. John had a unique personality. He was smart, funny, sweet, kind, loving, very romantic, and most of all, he loved God with all his heart. Her man was so many things and she could hardly wait to be his wife.
When John had the bull under control, he looked over at her and caught her staring at him. He smiled and waved to her. When ever he gave her one of his drop-dead gorgeous smiles, her heart skipped a beat and she got goosebumps all over her arms. She was the luckiest woman to have such an amazing man, soon to be husband.
